đ Baylor Graduation Weekend
Big congrats to the Baylor Class of 2025! Graduation ceremonies are happening at the Ferrell Center, and you can bet restaurants all over town will be packed with families snagging one last meal at Georgeâs or their go-to college spot. If youâre heading out this weekend, maybe pack a little patienceâand a snack for the wait.

đď¸ââď¸ STEM in the Gym: Muscle Math

The Waco ISD Education Foundation just awarded $148,406 in Innovative Grants to support bold, creative ideas across 19 campusesâincluding one right here at Provident Heights Elementary. Mr. LaQuan Hughes snagged funding for his âSTEM in the Gymâ project, blending fitness and STEM to teach students how muscles and math can move together. See the entire list of winners here.
đ Andrew Billings Youth Football Camp
Chicago Bears vet and Waco High alum Andrew Billings is back for his 4th annual free youth football camp on Saturday, June 7 at Waco ISD Stadium. Open to kids ages 10â14, the camp includes skills training, speed drills, prizes, and some serious inspiration from a hometown hero. Space is limited to 250 campersâsign up here.
đ Wacoâs Power Duo: Sendero x Waco Surf
Two of Wacoâs fastest-growing brands with national (and global) followings just teamed upâand weâre here for it. Sendero Provisions Co., known for their cheeky western grit and cult-favorite gear, joined forces with Waco Surf, home to one of the top inland surf parks in the world. The result?
