⛳️ Lake Waco Golf Club’s Grand Reopening (Saturday)

Waco’s favorite par-3 course just leveled up. Under new ownership, Lake Waco Golf Club has poured major investment into the course, clubhouse, and pool. They’re celebrating the grand reopening this Saturday with brisket + sausage wraps (on the house), raffles (TaylorMade drivers, free memberships), and live music starting at 6PM. Memberships now include pool, fishing, training center, and driving range access. Details at lakewacogc.com.

💪 Murph Monday (Crunch Fitness = Free All Week)
Don’t be surprised if you see groups running sweaty laps around gyms Monday morning doing the “Murph,” a legendary Memorial Day workout named after Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy. It’s a 1-mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats, and another 1-mile run—just your typical patriotic way to earn a cheeseburger. Crunch Fitness is opening its doors for free Monday and all next week, whether you're going full Murph or just Murph-adjacent on the elliptical.

🍦 And What’s More American Than Ice Cream?
