🏈 Super Bowl Watch Parties Around Waco

Super Bowl Sunday isn’t just about the football—it’s about the food, the friends, and the energy of watching it all unfold together. Here are a few spots hosting watch parties offering a great opportunity to meet neighbors and build community.

At The Backyard, expect wall-to-wall screens and an electric crowd. Lake Waco Golf Course is bringing a more laid-back vibe with drinks and a scenic view. Want a bonus? AC Marriott + Southern Roots Brewery are offering a ticketed experience that includes a free pint glass and a nacho bar. And for the ultimate all-in experience, The Will Waco has raffles, giveaways every quarter, and an all-you-can-eat feast for $40.

đŸ“ș TV Shows Get Local

Something about game shows and live comedy just hits different when you’re in the audience. Waco is about to get a dose of both, and if you love a good show, you’re in luck.

Ever dreamed of spinning that giant Price Is Right wheel? Well, dreams come true at the Extraco Events Center, where the legendary game show is going live on February 21. Or maybe quick-witted comedy is more your speed? The stars of Whose Line is it Anyway? are coming to the Hippodrome, ready to improv their way into your laugh quota for the year. And if you’d rather cheer on locals, two Waco sisters are taking on The Amazing Race—we can’t wait to watch them crush it! Grab tickets for the Price is Right Live here and to see Ryan Stiles and the Whose Line improv crew here.

đŸ„¶ The Polar Plunge – Are You Brave Enough?

The sun may be teasing us with glimpses of spring, but let’s be real—we all know Texas weather is just playing games. If you’re feeling bold, why not lean into the chill? The Waco Polar Plunge at Hawaiian Falls is happening on February 22, and it’s not just about making a splash—it’s for a great cause.

Brave souls will jump into icy water, all to support Special Olympics Texas. It’s one of those wild traditions that makes a great story after you’ve warmed back up. Whether you’re plunging solo or convincing a friend to freeze with you, it’s a bucket-list experience. Plus, you’ll earn some serious bragging rights. Grab your spot here.
