🐻 Riverfront Update: The Foster Pavilion parking garage in Waco is nearly done, with a snazzy $9.5 million metal facade showcasing Waco’s history. The garage opens on October 1st, right next to Baylor’s basketball arena. This whole riverfront area is transforming with retail spaces, restaurants, and more. It’s all set to become a vibrant hub—can’t wait to see it come to life!

🏛️ Our longtime representative, Rep. Doc Anderson, is stepping down early, giving McLennan County voters a unique double election this November. Doc’s decision is all about helping his successor get a head start. After nearly 20 years of service, he’s ready for some well-deserved travel time with his wife. It’s bittersweet, but he’s confident the next representative will hit the ground running.

🐵Harambe Revive is happening August 31 at Bridge Street Plaza hosted by the North East Riverside Neighborhood Association with the theme “pulling together.” Door prizes, raffles, “Waco’s Got Talent” show, food trucks, and live music with a lot more throughout the event. The event is the whole day, 10AM-10PM, on the 31st.
