🌮 Best Taco in Waco: Round 1 Results! 🌮

Round 1 of our March Madness Best Taco Challenge is officially wrapped… well, almost. Here’s who’s moving on from last weekend’s matchups:

Downtown Waco Quiet Zone Update

Making downtown Waco’s trains quiet won’t come cheap! 🚂💸 The city’s $10.75 million plan with Union Pacific will turn 10 rail crossings into a “quiet zone”—meaning no more blaring horns, except in emergencies. It's been a seven-year project that will greatly benefit downtown residents and hotel guests who deal with the constant noise. This major investment aims to make the area more peaceful and appealing to businesses and visitors. Disc Golf Pro Circuit Takes Over Cameron Park 
Cameron Park was buzzing this past weekend as the professional disc golf circuit rolled into Waco. Despite challenging wind conditions, the park was packed with spectators watching Kristin Lätt claim the FPO Championship with an impressive -23 score at the Waco Annual Charity Open. The PDGA-sanctioned event brought elite disc golfers from around the world to showcase their skills across the park's diverse landscape.
