Baylor Sports đť
đ Baylor Football Defense Delivers
Baylorâs defense dominated in a 20-10 win over Houston, marking their fifth straight victory. The Bears forced four turnovers, including three fourth-quarter interceptions, and held the Cougars to just 147 passing yards. Baylor is now 7-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play, heading into their final regular-season game against Kansas.
đ Baylor Menâs Basketball Falls Short in Bahamas
No. 13 Baylor lost 77-62 to No. 11 Tennessee in the Baha Mar Championship. Chaz Lanierâs hot shooting gave Tennessee an early lead they never relinquished. The Bears shot 27% from beyond the arc, with VJ Edgecombe leading with 20 points. Baylor will host New Orleans on Wednesday.
đ Baylor Womenâs Basketball Stumbles in Semifinals
The Lady Bears fell 73-65 to Indiana in the Battle 4 Atlantis semifinals. Despite cutting a 15-point deficit to four by halftime, foul trouble and turnovers proved costly. Yaya Felder led Baylor with 20 points. Theyâll play for third place on Monday against North Carolina or Villanova.
đ Baylor Volleyball Outlasts Houston
No. 17 Baylor edged Houston 3-2 on Senior Day, led by Elise McGheeâs 22-kill double-double. The Bears extended their win streak to nine against the Cougars. Baylor now travels to face Cincinnati on Wednesday.
