Waco’s new $17 million WorkSITE facility is open to help locals land high-paying jobs in fields like advanced manufacturing and mechatronics. 🚨 No City Council Meeting Tuesday—They’ve Got a Date With a Trail Instead!

Tuesday night’s City Council meeting? Canceled. But don’t worry, they’re not skipping town—they’ll be at the MKT Trail ribbon cutting this Thursday at 11 AM.

This project kicked off in 2016 when the City snagged 46 acres from Union Pacific Railroad for $600K. Now, Waco’s got a 12-foot-wide, lighted trail perfect for silver sneakers, bikers, and dog walkers alike.

🏀 Waco Sports Round-Up 🏆

What a weekend for Waco high school basketball! Three local teams gave it their all, with La Vega’s girls battling hard but falling just short in the championship. The Live Oak boys also finished as state runners-up, but the real highlight was the Live Oak girls—who dominated the final to become STATE CHAMPIONS! 🎉 Waco is proud of all the teams for their incredible performances!
