• 🔖Waco Comedy Jam is back on Sunday: The Central Texas Comedy Club presents the "Waco Comedy Jam" for its second year, featuring raw and uncut performances from rising stars in the local comedy scene. • 🍎Waco Gets Healthy: Over the next six months, Natural Grocers is opening its doors at the former CVS at 4506 W. Waco Drive. This new location will offer a much needed selection of organic and natural foods, supplements, and body care products. CIVIL NEWS

The Back to School Bash provides free services to get local students ready for the start of the school year. The Waco Police Department will be giving away free backpacks, school supplies, giving haircuts and many other services.

Backpacks and school supplies are available while supplies last. Haircuts will be provided for kids 5-17 and will be upon availability until 12:30 p.m.

While it is crazy to think school is around the corner, if you are a planner, mark your calendar for August 9-11 for tax free school shopping in Waco.
