CIVIL NEWS

Bell’s Hill Park Grand Opening on July 17, 2024

Bell’s Hill Park is undergoing a $100,000 renovation funded by Bobcat Company, Chip Gaines, and the National Recreation and Park Association. The project includes new dirt for the baseball field, concrete walkways, dugouts, and bleachers. The renovation began with a community celebration and a game featuring Chip Gaines, followed by extensive work on the field and surrounding areas. This project also marks the start of a nationwide contest where another park will receive a similar makeover. Bell’s Hill Park, with its rich history and integral community role, was chosen for this initiative due to its legacy and future plans for integration with Floyd Casey Park.
